About Umiya

Fabrication you can put under pressure

Established in 1983, Umiya Steel Fabricators has spent over four decades fabricating process equipment at GIDC Makarpura, Vadodara — at the heart of Gujarat's chemical and pharmaceutical belt.

We manufacture pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, condensers, columns, pressure filters, coils, screw conveyors, receiver and storage tanks in stainless steel and carbon steel — from a 2000 m² shop with cranes up to 37 tons. Every job is built against approved drawings, with material traceability, qualified welding and documented testing — so your equipment arrives ready for inspection and installation.

How We Work

From drawing to dispatch

Design & Drawing

Design calculations and GA / fabrication drawings for approval.

Material

Plates, pipes and flanges procured with mill test certificates.

Forming

Plasma / oxy cutting and shell rolling up to 35 mm thick.

Welding

TIG, MIG / FCAW, SMAW and SAW with column boom & rotators.

Testing

DP / RT / UT as specified, then hydrostatic test.

Finish & Dispatch

Pickling, polishing or painting, packing and dispatch.
